Taste Test

Tea Quiz

One plant, many cups — that is the whole territory of this tea quiz. Seven questions, played right here in the page.

Seven questions in the pot

The coverage fits in a single phrase: one plant, many cups. Seven questions work that ground — what stands behind the range of cups on the shelf, and how the familiar names relate to their shared source. The phrase is the map; the specifics are the questions. Which plant, which cups, and how they connect is precisely what the quiz asks, so this page keeps its mouth shut and lets the four options do the asking.

How each answer earned its place

No answer on this site rests on one person’s say-so. The dataset behind the quizzes was filled in twice, by two authors working independently against the same fixed keys — a question catalog plus structured reference tables. Compared value by value afterward, the two copies agreed on 146 of 146 keys, with zero factual disputes. An answer appears in this quiz because two separate write-ups landed on it without conferring.

What happens when you play

Each of the 7 questions offers four options. Choose, and the verdict is immediate: right or wrong, with the correct answer shown either way, so even a miss pours you the fact. At the end the page walks back through the full round, your answers against the correct ones. Your best score is saved in your browser and waits for you to top it. There is no signup and nothing to install — the quiz brews right in this page.
