Candy Quiz
Six questions on sweets, what they start as, and where they first belonged — that's this candy quiz, played right in the page. Every pick is marked the moment you make it.
What the quiz asks
Six questions, three angles on the sweet stuff: the sweets themselves, the sources they start from, and the homelands they came out of. Sometimes you guess the candy from what it is made of; sometimes you place a familiar sweet on the map. Each question stands alone, so a miss on one costs you nothing on the next.
How every answer was checked
No answer here rests on one person’s say-so. The dataset behind Taste Test was filled in twice, by two authors working apart from each other, against the same fixed keys — a question catalog plus structured tables covering origins and defining ingredients. The two versions were then set side by side and compared value by value: 146 keys, 146 agreements, zero factual disputes. Where a food’s home country is honestly contested, both authors gave the answer at the region level, which is not contested. That is the sheet this quiz draws from.
The way it runs
Four options under every question. Pick one and the mark comes back instantly — right or wrong, with the correct answer shown so nothing stays a mystery. Finish all six and the full review lines up every question with its answer. Your best score is saved in your browser, and there is no signup, no account, and nothing to download. The whole thing plays out in this page, from the first sweet to the last.
