Play freely and use the quizzes at dinner tables and in classrooms. The facts are the kitchen’s; the implementation is this site’s.
Use
The quizzes are free to play and free to use in teaching, without an account and without
asking. What food is and where it comes from belongs to everyone; the question bank, the
drawings and the writing are this site’s.
Accuracy
The dataset is verified as described on the About page, and food history is argued at every
table: where an origin is contested the site names the region both sides share. Corrections
through the contact page are welcome and get applied to the dataset, which fixes every quiz
at once.
No warranty and no advice
The site is tested and it is still software. Nothing here is dietary, health, or
food-handling advice beyond quoting published USDA standards; for real kitchen decisions,
consult the source.
