Fast Food Quiz
Seven questions on the quick classics — what they are called, where they started, and the starts people still argue over. A fast food quiz you play right on this page.
What seven questions ask
The counter-service canon: 7 questions on the quick classics, taking in the names they go by, the places they started, and the origin stories that come with a dispute attached. Fast food is full of claims and counter-claims about who made what first, and that contested territory is part of the fun — but every specific name, place, and first belongs to the quiz, not to this page. Four options each; the answers stay behind them.
Why the answer key holds up
Because it was built twice. Two authors independently filled in the same dataset against the same fixed keys — question catalog and structured tables both — and their copies were compared value by value: 146 of 146 keys matched, zero factual disputes between the two of them. Where an origin is genuinely contested in the wider record, the dataset answers at the uncontested region level, which both authors reached independently. Disputed history gets handled by narrowing the claim, not by picking a side.
The way it plays
Each question puts four options in front of you and marks your pick the moment you make it — right or wrong, correct answer shown either way. When the seventh question closes, you get a review of the full round, every question and every answer laid out. Your best score is saved in your browser for the next attempt. No signup, no app, no timer; it all runs in this page.
